Trolling is a fishing technique which consists in trailing a bait or lure, trying to attract fishes by the vibrations of its movements.
There are several techniques depending on the specie you pretend to fish.
We define them as surface trolling, half bottom trolling and bottom trolling. Within each of these forms there exist different methods, the conventionals and the personals used by each fishermen according to his experience.
Surface trolling differs from other forms in the bait which is not ballasted so that it remains at all times on the surface or only at a few centimetres below the surface. Species living on the bottom, half bottom and on the surface can be captured with this method.
You can capture all kind of species like tunas, mackerels, alfonsinos, sea basses or even some species living on the bottom.

Tuna of 328,9 kilos captured on board of Luna the 4th of September of 2002.
We used reels Shimano 130 Lbs and rods Penn 80 Lbs (Type 20-80). Fighting time: 5 hours and 30 minutes.
We also would like to thank the vessel LOS PRIMACHOS of Emilio Sánchez and his team for the hours they kept an eye on us until we managed to get it on board of Luna.
